Hi Helen, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

After a varied career spanning media, hospitality, travel and property, I am excited to be launching Pass The Keys in this fantastic area of Greater London. Combining many of my skills and my interest in property, I look forward to  helping property owners maximise their rental income, while also providing wonderful places to stay for visitors from near and far. 

Having lived in many parts of the world, I now call Twickenham home and I absolutely love this area and everything it has to offer.

Tell us a bit about why the area is desirable as a short-term rental hotspot...

The boroughs of Richmond and Kingston-upon-Thames are the greenest and leafiest parts of Greater London, incorporating the 2 biggest Royal Parks - Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

Yet both boroughs are very accessible for journeys into central London, taking journey times of around 20/25 minutes from many of the train stations. Richmond is also on the tube line, so has great connections to the whole of London. 

This area is crammed with historic homes such as Ham House, Hampton Court Palace, Marble Hill House, to name a few. With so much history, it is a great place to take in all the local landmarks. The River Thames runs through both boroughs, offering stunning scenery, lovely riverside walks as well as many river-fronting pubs and restaurants. We also have the world-renowned Kew gardens in the borough, as well as major sporting venues such as Twickenham stadium.

There are many and varied reasons why guests stay at our properties. They may be visiting London from overseas, they may be coming to work or visiting friends and family. Increasingly, we are helping local people who need somewhere to stay while they are renovating their own homes.
