Written by Pass the Keys | Jul 30, 2018 6:30:00 AM

Pass the Keys, the UK's leading property short let management service, is now expanding to the country's second largest city, Birmingham. Founded in 2015, the company has been providing a full package of short letting management service to hundreds of property owners in ten UK cities.  In the past three years, Pass the Keys have welcomed thousands of domestic and international guests to our hosts' properties. As the demand for short-term accommodation arises significantly in the city, we have increasing enquiries for Airbnb management in Birmingham.

Now we are proud to announce that Pass the Keys operate in Birmingham! We interviewed our Birmingham managing directors, Mr. Levinous Godjo and Mr. Ricardo Johnson to find out more!

Hi Levinous and Ricardo, could you tell me about yourself and your connection with Birmingham?

My name is Levinous Godjo and I have managed several businesses during my career, including a nutritious beverage company called Pure Smoothies. I have also headed the operations of a successful cleaning business, I have extensive, first-hand experience in servicing short-term lets in Bristol and its surrounding areas.

My business partner, Ricardo Johnson, is an entrepreneur who owns a successful men’s clothing brand and property services company. Ricardo works closely with letting agencies in Birmingham, and has gained an excellent insight into the current property market, having lived in Birmingham for the past 15 years. With Ricardo’s knowledge of Birmingham, coupled with our combined business experience, specifically in the property industry, we are confident we can provide a bespoke management solution for Birmingham.

What do you love about Birmingham?

Aside from its beauty and culture, Birmingham has an amazingly deep history!

There are more miles to Birmingham’s famous Canal system than the equally famous waterways of Venice, in Italy.  The history of Birmingham has tempted in a diverse population from all around the world, and in turn has ensured that the city is culturally rich, not just in people, but in its attractions. Birmingham has some of the best restaurants in the world, stunning art exhibitions and a famous jewellery quarter which produces 40% of the UK’s jewellery.

As a young father, a top priority of mine, is always accessibility of family attractions, and Birmingham has these in abundance.

Cannon Hill Park

An amazing getaway for the family; includes 5 tennis courts, a bowling green and a mini-golf course all located in the central area between the Midland Arts Centre and the Russell Road car park. There is also a children’s mini fun-fair operating at weekends, weather permitting.  Pedalo boats operate on the lake during the summer season and there is opportunity to explore the park and enjoy the scenery whilst on a city break.

Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens Trust

When I am looking for a little peace and quiet, I always head here. 10 acres of beautiful gardens provide just the spot for some quiet reflection, and if you are feeling energetic then you can take a walk and take in the restored 18th-century gardens and Holly Maze.

St. George’s Park

The FA’s National Football Centre is set in 330-acres of Staffordshire countryside and is home for England’s 24 national football teams. Facilities include a football centre, Hilton hotel, outdoor leadership centre and a bespoke sports medicine, rehabilitation and human performance facility.

The Outdoor Leadership Centre, operated by Grahame Robb Associates and offers a 40-foot climbing tower, linear high ropes course and an extensive range of low ropes activities as well as up to 15 different team exercises. In addition, the site has a Power fan and archery range. Bespoke packages are available for sports teams and social clubs as well as professional teams and corporate events.

Walsall Arboretum

This beautiful Victorian park is just five minutes walk from Walsall town centre and contains parkland, lakes, gardens and woodland walks.

Don’t forget Birmingham's Hippodrome which is ranked most popular in the UK. What is there not to love?!
