Once you visit this fabulous UK destination you will never forget it!

With stunning beaches, beautiful idyllic countryside, long coastal walks and breath-taking scenery, along with the well known Tarka Trail to explore on foot or by cycling, North Devon is a wonderful place to stay, relax, unwind and just breathe with family. It is a place that people return to time and time again.

Truly, a North Devon holiday is like no other!

    Saunton

Saunton is known for its clean long straight white sandy beach, backed by the impressive must go to Braunton Borrows, which is the largest sand dune system in England!  It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, UNESCO designated Biosphere reserve. Saunton is also a dog-friendly place to visit, full of natural beauty!

    Woolacombe + Mortehoe

Woolacombe has been voted by the Sunday Times as ‘Beach of the Year 2021’ and for good reason.

Woolacombe Beach lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water.

    Mortehoe

A calm cliff-top village with spectacular views, Mortehoe is listed in the Doomsday Book and has a number of interesting features including a rare barrel-roofed thirteenth-century church. Visit the Mortehoe Museum which gives visitors a glimpse of Old Morte and the days when smugglers lured ships onto the rocks.

Lynton + Lynmouth – ‘Pretty, idyllic seaside towns on the edge of Exmoor’

The picturesque market town of Lynmouth provides a romantic escape from modern living with its rows of charming fishing cottages and shops that cluster around the pretty harbour. Lynton perched high above is a vibrant Victorian village retaining a quaint mix of times present and times past. Lynton & Lynmouth are elegantly connected by the Cliff Railway, the highest and steepest fully water-powered Victorian railway in the World!

    Ilfracombe

The town is surrounded by beaches, making it the ideal location for anyone looking for a beach holiday. On one side there is Wildersmouth Beach which you can access via the South West Coast Path, as well as Rapparee Cove and Hele Cove, which are smaller, secluded areas ideal for rock pooling.

Tunnels Beaches is one of the most famous beaches in the area and also double as a wedding venue and a heritage attraction. Hand-carved in the 1820s, the tunnels offer a unique glance at the town’s Victorian history.

Ilfracombe is also known all over the world as the home to renowned artist Damien Hirst’s famous 20m high sculpture.

Whether you love her or hate her, Verity is hard to miss. You’ll find her at the pier overlooking the Bristol Channel towards Wales. The statue is of a pregnant woman holding a sword and a set of scales while standing on a pile of books. Half the statue shows the woman’s insides with the foetus on full show, Damien Hirst described the statue as being a modern allegory of truth and justice and whether you like it or not, no trip to Ilfracombe would be complete without paying her a visit.
