Brighton & Hove: Events This Summer to Help Market Your Holiday Rental

Numerous events could be happening near your property and you might not even know it! By being aware of events in your area, you can market your property to honour as many bookings as you can, and optimise your property description so event-goers can take advantage of your property's proximity to an event venue. Another tip is to add pictures to your listing of nearby venues or previous events so people are aware of the significance of your location; this will draw more popular attention.

    Luna Beach Cinema

If your property is on the beach or within walking distance, you automatically have a winning vacation rental! During the four weeks of 14th June to 15th July, the beach transforms into a beautiful night time cinema. Guests can pick up an ice-cream and pull up a chair to watch some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters right on the beach. Every year, this event attracts thousands of guests thanks to its low prices (tickets start from £3) and typical summer aesthetic, it would be silly not to take on this golden opportunity as a property owner.

The cinema is located on the beach by Brighton Pier.

    Brighton Pride

Possibly the biggest event in Brighton, Brighton & Hove’s Pride Festival attracts thousands from the LGBTQ+ community, as well as those just looking for a fun day out. Brighton Pride is one of the biggest Pride festivals in the UK, attracting over 160,000 visitors to the annual parade and festival party at Preston Park. There is also an art and film festival, a dog show and a village party. To find out more, visit the Brighton Pride website.

Brighton Pride takes place over the first weekend of August (3rd-5th) 2018, and has various venues across the city, including Preston Park, Hove Lawns, the city centre, and St James Street.

     Brighton Naked Bike Ride

This free event attracts many visitors and spectators due to its bizarre nature! The naked “protestival” runs through the city as cyclists ride in the nude to protest against vehicle motorists behaviour towards cyclists on the road. Brighton’s 13th Annual World Naked Bike Ride takes place on 10 June 2018 and gathers over 1,000 riders each year.

The event is one of several UK and global rides happening at the same time.

    London to Brighton Bike Ride

The British Heart Foundation’s famous London to Brighton Bike Ride takes place this month on 17th June 2018, and allows travellers to Brighton to take part in the ride or experience a day out to remember. You can also finish off with some refreshments on Brighton Beach after.
